Meeting minutes status:
Jane Daniels, President called the meeting to order at 7:30
The minutes of the May meeting were approved.
Jim Brosnan submitted a financial report. There is $1369.80 in the bank.
Jane showed Rebecca Casino's video "The Other Side of FDR State Park. She asked for possible projects that an intern might be involved with.
Jane announced that we have notice that PCSB Foundation gave us $1482.28 to cover printing the park brochure and our insurance this year.
Mike Pollack who is with an events company that runs Blaze at Van Cortlandt Manor is seeking a venu to have a slightly different event but still with a pumpkin theme. The for profit company likes to benefit a non-profit. He looks for a venue that has adequate entrance and exit and minimal imposition with residential areas. Blaze has become so popular that he would like to offer an alternate that is a distance from Van Cortlandt Manor. He will give Jane more information so she can forward it to Linda Cooper for further discussion.
Mark Kotkin asked that the descussion on reducing the number of meetings per year be postponed until more board members are present.
Dianne Press reminded everyone about the Pathway though History walk on Sunday 10-12 at Parking Lot 1
