Discussion Results:
- Gone with the Dogs will be discontinued as the results were not effective for the time and effort spent; Charlie’s heroic efforts were acknowledged.
- Having a booth at the Yorktown Street Fair was very successful; we will do it again next year. The rack cards and pencils proved to be very popular
- A hold will be put on ordering more tee shirts as in small quantities, they are not a cost effect way of raising funds
- Melissa will enter names from events into database which is part of Mail Chimp
- Dianne will make copies and laminate the history poster for park
- Jane will write and send our annual appeal letter
- Jane will lead a walk around the bridge building area for Friends who are interested
- The December meeting will include a pot luck dholiday party; everyone is welcome to bring a food item (John is bringing sparkling apple cider)
Maria shared the Code of Conduct policy she assembled. It was reviewed and will be discussed again in December.
Future discussions:
- National Trails’ Day
- Pow Wow to be decided in May if we will attend
- Kiosk in Trump- is it still there
- Diane will contact Bedford Audubon about co-hosting a bird walk at Trump SP, Indian Hill
