The minutes of the August meeting were approved. 

Jane Daniels gave a financial report for Jim Brosnan, bank balance is $4448.72 as of the first of September.

Diane Press reported that the Support Connection will not allow people who have a booth to hand out any paper. Charlie Castronovo and she will be at the Oct 2, event. 

Anwer Quershi will be in charge of the booth at the Yorktown Street Fair. John Robinson said he would help. 

Dianne Press and Rick Fisher are working on the second interpretive sign, which is part of the National Heritage Area Grant.

Jane Daniels said she is still waiting for an OK from DOT to start work on the RTP Grant. 

The group brainstormed about how to get others involved. Jane and Anwer will meet to figure out how to do some publicity.

Bob Guarino reported that the pool closed after Labor Day. He limited how many people entering the pool area to 3,500 which is the capacity of the pool, even though not all 3,500 would be in the pool at one time. As as result, pool attendance was down.
